This position offers an evening schedule of 40 hours per week, from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, including every other weekend.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for optimizing health and providing care through the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The RN will ensure compliance with all standards of practice and foster a patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, delegate, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a group of patients.
• Educate patients and their families about health promotion and disease management.
• Administer medications safely according to established policies.
• Participate in nursing governance and quality improvement initiatives.
• Engage in professional development and mandatory education requirements.
• Provide a supportive learning environment for new employees and students.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Six (6) months to three (3) years of nursing (RN) experience.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Current NYS RN License.
• BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross).
