This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts primarily from 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm. Occasional weekends may be required, and no holidays or night shifts are included.

Job Description

As an RN in Diagnostic Imaging, you will be responsible for the preparation of patients for CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine studies in a brand new ambulatory orthopedic center. Excellent critical thinking and IV skills are essential, and experience with contrast administration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging procedures including CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine studies.
• Demonstrate excellent critical thinking and IV skills in a clinical environment.
• Administer contrast as required for imaging studies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year ICU experience.
• Current RN License in New York.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Telemetry experience required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred but not required.
• Excellent critical thinking and IV skills are essential.
• Experience with contrast administration is desired.
