Job Description

The position requires a Registered Nurse with robust assessment, clinical, and documentation skills. The candidate will deliver patient care across the age continuum from Pediatric to Geriatric. Responsibilities include conducting thorough assessments, maintaining accurate documentation, and demonstrating professionalism and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough assessments that are systematic, comprehensive, and accurate.
• Provide direct patient care while demonstrating competent clinical skills and knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Document components of the nursing process and patient progress in charts.
• Ensure patient satisfaction by responding professionally to patients and families.
• Follow National Patient Safety Goals and utilize safe patient transfer techniques.
• Individualize patient care based on diagnoses and procedures encountered.
• Assess patient understanding of surgical procedures and provide thorough education.
• Support completion of patient testing and evaluate pre-admission testing orders.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year PACU or Critical Care experience.
• Active RN License.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• CCRN or CPAN certification preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
