Job Description

Join our dynamic team in the Emergency Department where you will provide high-quality care to a diverse population of patients, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patient diagnoses, including Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, and Cardiac Arrest, using advanced specialty equipment such as Rapid Infusors and Arctic Sun.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Assess and triage patients, managing a range of critical care situations
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes
• Float to other units as required

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department with pediatric experience preferred
• Current AHA certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
• Active NY RN license with comprehensive NURSYS report for verification
• Experience with EMR systems, particularly EPIC
