Rotating 12-hour variable shifts, candidates must be willing to work both days and nights.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced NICU Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3+ years of experience, including time spent in Level II or Level III settings. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to neonatal patients while collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to neonates in a NICU setting.
- Perform assessments, develop nursing care plans, and implement treatment protocols.
- Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patients' condition.
- Maintain accurate medical records and document care provided.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in family education and support initiatives.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in NICU nursing including Level II or Level III care.
- Current BLS and NRP certifications required at the time of submission.
- PALS and STABLE certifications must be obtained prior to start.
- Epic experience is required.
- Willingness to float to other units as needed, including pediatrics or adult floors.
