Job Description

The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; and provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care utilizing the Nursing Process.
• Demonstrate leadership in patient care planning and delivery.
• Maintain clinical competencies through education and training.
• Delegate patient care responsibilities based on staff qualifications.
• Supervise and direct personnel delivering patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Two to 5 years of experience is required.
• Must have ACLS & BLS certifications, attached to the submission.
• Vent/trach experience is required.
• Knowledge of central lines is necessary; preferred wound care experience.
• Must have an OH or multi-state compact RN license, attached to the resume.

Schedule

This position is scheduled from 19:00 to 07:00.
