Registered Nurse - Patient Care

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides age-specific, direct patient care by utilizing the Nursing Process within the framework of the Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care and Specialty Specific Standards of Patient Care. The RN assumes leadership responsibilities, including delegating work to other levels of employees, while ensuring compliance with all applicable state and federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care.

Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care according to age-specific needs.
Utilize the Nursing Process in patient care delivery.
Assume leadership and delegation responsibilities.
Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Active ACLS, BLS, PALS (or ENPC) certifications are required prior to the contract start date.
De-escalation training is also required.

Schedule

This position requires a day shift with varied hours.
