Job Description

This position is within an Adaptive Acuity Unit, where travelers may be asked to provide Progressive Care Unit (PCU) care as needed. The care requirements include a non-negotiable ratio of 3:1. Charge nursing experience is required, and candidates must have drip experience. All travelers must be willing to float to any inpatient unit within their scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide charge nursing duties as required.
• Deliver care to patients in an Adaptive Acuity Unit.
• Float to various inpatient units as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of current medical-surgical and telemetry experience.
• Charge nursing experience is required.
• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience is strongly required.
• Drip experience is mandatory.
• ICU experience is strongly preferred.
• Minimum 3 months of recent travel experience is required.
• Vermont RN License or Compact is required.
• Active American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications are needed.
