Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our emergency department team. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-pressure environments and be capable of managing multiple critical situations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to patients of all ages, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the emergency room.
• Manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure.
• Perform advanced nursing procedures, including intubation and interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs).
• Administer medications and fluids via IV and manage blood product administration.
• Document patient care and manage electronic records utilizing the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an emergency department, with charge experience preferred.
• Active North Carolina state RN license or a compact RN license.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC, CPI.
• Previous experience with Epic charting system is strongly preferred.
