Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH).
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) with 1-2+ years of experience to join our team. The position requires the nurse to provide care for patients in a telemetry unit, including cardiac monitoring and interpretation, IV insertion, lab draws, and medication administration. The RN will also manage cardiac medications, perform foley insertions, monitor vital signs, document assessments, and conduct point-of-care testing such as blood glucose monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms.
- Perform IV insertions and lab draws.
- Administer medications and manage cardiac medications.
- Insert foley catheters as needed.
- Observe and document vital signs and patient assessments.
- Conduct point-of-care testing, including blood glucose checks.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- 1-2+ years of Telemetry nursing experience.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required.
