Recovery RN Position

Job Description

The Recovery RN will work in an acute care setting, providing excellent patient care in the preoperative and recovery phases. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring patients effectively and ensuring a smooth transition through their recovery phases.

Schedule

The position is scheduled from 7:45 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. There are no weekend or holiday shifts required.

Responsibilities

Monitor recovery patients with a ratio of 2:1, providing one patient is awake.
Assist in admitting and recovering 10-12 patients per shift.
Perform preoperative assessments and interventions.
Insert IVs as needed during the recovery phase.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

BSN is preferred but not required.
Current BLS Certification is mandatory.
CGRN certification is beneficial but not required.
