Schedule

Full-time position with a schedule of Monday - Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. No weekends, holidays, or on-call required.

Job Description

The Pediatric Infusion Center provides support for various pediatric specialty services, including chemotherapy, monoclonal antibody administration, blood product administration, enzyme replacement therapy, and gene therapy. Ideal candidates will demonstrate excellent prioritization and communication skills, with proficiency in IV administration and experience with IVADs/Ports. Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the Pediatric Infusion Center is essential.

Responsibilities

• Administer infusions and perform procedural care for pediatric patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Monitor patient responses and manage any adverse reactions during treatment.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN License in New York State.
• Minimum of two years of experience in pediatrics.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS) certification.
• APHON certification preferred.
