Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Med-Surg Telemetry RN to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in telemetry, as the role involves applying, interpreting, and responding to telemetry readings. Responsibilities include the management of a variety of patient demographics, particularly those with post-operative needs, respiratory issues, and chronic illnesses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a Med-Surg telemetry setting.
• Apply and interpret telemetric data effectively; take appropriate action based on findings.
• Insert NG tubes and peripheral IVs as needed.
• Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure seamless patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• AHA BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Telemetry certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of Med-Surg telemetry experience or 3 years of telemetry experience.
• Prior travel experience in facilities with 300+ beds or previous experience in UVMHN acute care facilities.
• EPIC experience within the last 2 years is required.
