Registered Nurse - Acute Care 12 Hour Nights

Location

Available positions in a designated area with a 50-mile radius rule.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule / Shift

12-hour night shifts, or day/night rotate, with weekends scheduled as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our acute care unit. The unit features 30 beds and serves a diverse patient population with diagnoses including CHF, COPD, cellulitis, and urosepsis. The RN will be responsible for patient care, collaboration with the charge nurse, and support from nurse aides and PCTs.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients.
Monitor patient conditions and administer treatments.
Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.
Titrate heparin drips based on APTT results.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Current BLS certification.
NIHSS certification.
Valid nursing license in the state of practice.
