Cath Lab Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

This role requires 4 ten-hour shifts per week, with shifts in the Cath Lab running from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Technologist will assist physicians during percutaneous procedures in a sterile environment, with a focus on both cardiac and vascular procedures. The candidate will be required to learn and operate various equipment and products specific to these procedures.

Responsibilities

Assist the physician during percutaneous procedures in a sterile setting.
Utilize basic EKG interpretation skills and perform hemodynamic monitoring.
Operate fluoroscopy equipment, including C-arm and table, and manage image processing.
Document patient care and procedures accurately within the EPIC electronic health record system.
Maintain sterile technique throughout all procedures and interactions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Basic EKG Interpretation (must pass facility EKG test).
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
CCI-RCIS or ARRT RT certification is required.
