This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

7a-7p / 7p-7a, 3x12s; variable shifts as scheduled by the client; every other weekend and holiday required.

Job Description

The ICU Registered Nurse will provide critical care to patients during day and night shifts. Responsibilities include managing multiple priorities, ensuring patient safety, and demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The individual must have a strong understanding of patient care across the lifespan, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Must be currently licensed by New York State as a registered professional nurse.
Certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS required through the RQI system during clinical orientation.
Basic Coronary Care certification within six months of hire.
CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
Preferred: Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association recommended within two years of hire; TNCC recommended within two years of hire.
