Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 09:00 AM - 05:30 PM

On-call: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM on weekends, 4-5 weekends during the assignment

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing MRI scans in both inpatient and outpatient settings using Philips 3T and 1.5T scanners. The role involves patient screening and providing advanced imaging studies, excluding cardiac MRI.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of MRI scans including Neuro, MSK, Abdomen, Breast, MRA/MRV, and General MRI.
Administer contrast as required for imaging.
Screen and transport patients in accordance with protocol.
Work collaboratively with on-site and remote radiologists for image interpretation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

ARRT (MR) certification required; ARRT (R) not accepted.
BLS certification required.
New York state license is not required.
Experience with Change Healthcare Radiology Solutions (McKesson) and Epic RIS preferred.
