Job Description

This position is available in a fast-paced pre/post interventional radiology department at a level 1 Trauma center. The team provides care for both inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan. Registered Nurses will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, focusing on patient pre-procedural preparation as well as post-procedural recovery and overnight observation care.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-procedural and post-procedural care for interventional radiology patients.
• Care for patients boarding overnight pre or post procedure.
• Perform critical assessments and monitor patients’ vital signs.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Two years of Registered Nursing experience.
• Two years of Medical/Surgical experience.
• Telemetry experience is required.
• Current New York RN license.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only).
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association only).
