Schedule

4x10-Hour shifts (07:00 - 17:30) or 3x12 shifts available. Candidate will be required to cover 3-4 weekend shifts in a 6-week matrix and participate in on-call duties, requiring a 30-minute response time.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced RN with a strong background in trauma and robotics, particularly with thoracic and vascular specialties. This position involves working independently across multiple surgical specialties and supporting Level I trauma cases. The candidate must have proficiency in operating the Da Vinci Xi robot, and familiarity with the DV5 robot is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Function independently in all specified surgical specialties.
• Provide skilled nursing care during surgical procedures, including scrubbing and circulating.
• Participate in on-call rotations and weekend shifts as required.
• Care for patients, including those with COVID-19, following strict protocols in a tobacco and fragrance-free environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of RN experience, including Level I trauma experience.
• Previous travel experience in similar roles is required.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Must provide proof of COVID-19 and flu vaccinations, with exemptions considered.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
