3x12 Hour Night Shift (19:00 - 07:30); Requires every other weekend and holiday shifts as scheduled.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled PACU RN to join our team working night shifts. The selected candidate will provide excellent post-anesthesia care and monitor patients recovering from surgeries. The role includes managing patient care in the PACU, ensuring safety and comfort, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-operative care to patients in the PACU.
• Monitor vital signs and patient condition during recovery.
• Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure effective patient care.
• Educate patients and families about post-operative care.
• Administer medications and manage pain control as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU or critical care.
• Active RN license in Maryland or Compact State license.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
