Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) - Chemo Certified

Location

Chemo certified nurses are needed in a local facility.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

The position requires three 12-hour shifts per week, with a schedule of 0700-1930.

Job Description

The Oncology Registered Nurse will provide care to patients undergoing chemotherapy and other oncology treatments. This role requires direct patient interaction, thorough assessment of patient needs, and implementation of care plans.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Administering chemotherapy and other treatments.
Monitoring patient vitals and responses to treatment.
Educating patients and families about treatment plans and side effects.
Coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Applicants must possess a valid nursing license and chemotherapy certification. Previous experience in oncology settings is preferred.
