Operating Room (OR) Nurse - Mid 4x10-Hour Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Mid 4x10-Hour shift: 3 PM - 11:30 PM with rotation options for additional shifts.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of current acute care OR experience. The candidate must be able to circulate and scrub in various surgical specialties including orthopedic, vascular, general, thoracic, and neuro surgery in a level 2 trauma center. Robotic and ENT experience are required, as well as proficiency in all OR specialties except open heart surgery.

Responsibilities

Assist in patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Circulate and scrub in various surgical cases.
Manage patient safety and ensure compliance with hospital protocols.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide exceptional patient care.
Participate in on-call rotations as scheduled.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Active NJ or Compact nursing license.
BLS certification is mandatory.
2 years of current acute care operating room experience.
Robotic and ENT surgical experience is required.
Previous charge experience is preferred.
