Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hours (08:00 - 16:30). Weekend call only with shared on-call coverage among RNs.

Job Description

The Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care during endoscopic procedures and recovery. The unit operates Monday through Friday, with weekend on-call coverage on a rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

Assisting in endoscopic procedures with either another RN or a technician.
Monitoring patients in the pre- and post-procedure areas.
Maintaining patient safety and comfort throughout all stages of the procedures.
Administering medications and managing conscious sedation protocols.
Documenting patient care and outcomes using Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a nursing role required.
Active New Jersey or Compact nursing license at the time of submission.
Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required.
Experience with Epic charting system is required.
Previous charge experience preferred.
