Mid Shift: 4x10 Hours (13:00 - 23:30); weekend/on-call required.

Job Description

The CVOR RN will be responsible for circulating and scrubbing in a variety of surgical procedures including, but not limited to, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, and General Surgery. Candidates must possess recent experience in both circulating and scrubbing roles, with a strong focus on general OR and multi-service line proficiencies. During weeks with fewer CVOR cases, the RN will be floated to the general OR as required.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub surgical procedures in the CVOR setting.
• Assist and collaborate with surgical teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Participate in on-call shifts, which may include a total of 10-15 shifts during the contract period.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and universal safety measures.
• Document and maintain patient records accurately in compliance with hospital policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3 to 5 years of recent experience in CVOR with strong circulate and scrub skills.
• Active RN license in the state of Maryland required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
