This position is located in a facility in the state of Arkansas.
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Day shifts available, either from 06:30 to 17:00 or 07:30 to 18:00. Call is required one week day per week, along with every fifth weekend.
Job Description
As an Electrophysiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic tests and assisting with procedures in Electrophysiology, Cardiac Catheterization, and Interventional Radiology. You will provide care to adult and geriatric patients, and work in a fast-paced environment with an average daily census of 25-30 patients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Electrophysiology studies and assist in procedures as required.
- Perform diagnostic invasive testing and interventions including stenting, angioplasty, and catheter placements.
- Float to Electrophysiology as needed when Cath Lab or IR cases are low.
- Maintain competencies in IABP and Impella training.
- Document all procedures and patient care accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) using Epic.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Must have ARRT certification in hand at the time of submission.
- At least 2 years of experience in a STEMI/PCI facility, with proficiency in invasive cardiac procedures.
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, ARRT.
- Valid state license required.
