This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule / Shift

3x12-hour night shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a patient ratio of 1:5-6. Every other weekend coverage is required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced MS/Tele Registered Nurse for our night shift, responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will manage telemetry patients, ensuring safe and effective care delivery while adhering to hospital policies and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to telemetry patients as per established protocols.
• Monitor vital signs and assess patient health status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
• Participate in patient education and support activities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Current South Carolina RN license or Compact license is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
• Telemetry competency and previous charge experience are preferred.
• Experience in a community hospital setting is preferred.
