Job Description

This is a 13-week contract position. The assignment is for a skilled clinician in a Trauma Cardiovascular Stroke and Neuro unit, focusing on patients requiring advanced critical care. The department demands high competency and familiarity with various monitoring and intervention protocols.

Schedule

The shifts are night shifts, structured as 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:00. Clinicians are expected to work every other weekend as part of their rotation.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Trauma Cardiovascular Stroke and Neuro unit.
• Monitor patient vitals and administer treatment protocols as required.
• Utilize Epic charting system for accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy and respiratory services.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical experience preferred; 2+ years accepted with strong qualifications.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are required.
• Epic charting system proficiency is mandatory.
• Prior charge experience preferred, along with trauma level I or II experience.
