Job Description

Join a dedicated team providing high-quality rehabilitative care for patients with cerebrovascular diseases, traumatic brain injuries, amputations, and other neurological conditions. The rehabilitation RN plays a crucial role in interdisciplinary care, collaborating with a physiatrist, nurse practitioners, therapists, and social workers to create and implement individualized patient care plans.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care for a caseload of 5-6 patients during night shifts, ensuring comprehensive assessments and implementation of care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess needs and provide tailored rehabilitation strategies.
• Participate in daily team meetings to evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Deliver therapies according to individualized plans, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
• Educate patients and families on care procedures and rehabilitative goals.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year in a rehabilitation or related specialty.
• BLS certification required (must be AHA certified).
• WV/Compact RN License required (pending license is acceptable but must have an active license to start).
• Charge nurse experience preferred but not mandatory.
