Day shift, 3x12 hour shifts from 07:00 AM to 07:00 PM, Monday through Friday. No weekends or holidays.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Telemetry Unit. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in telemetry nursing and must be familiar with the care of arterial and venous access patients. This role requires both charge nurse experience and the capability to manage pre and post-procedure patients from interventional radiology, electrophysiology, and cardiology labs.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry for patients.
- Manage pre and post-procedure care for patients undergoing catheterization, electrophysiology, or interventional radiology procedures.
- Administer medications and provide wound care as necessary.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout their stay.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a telemetry or cardiac unit.
- Charge RN experience required.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
- Experience with EPIC charting system is mandatory.
- Telemetry experience is essential.
- Knowledge in arterial and venous access management.
