Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

The schedule consists of rotating 8-hour shifts between 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM and 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM, including rotating weekends and on-call duties.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will perform routine exams and specialized MRI studies, including prostate and breast MRIs, as well as scanning pacemakers, implants, and stimulators. The position requires starting IVs and working with a team in a fast-paced environment, managing an average of 15-20 scans per day per scanner.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized MRI examinations.
• Operate MRI equipment for imaging studies.
• Start IVs as necessary for contrast administration.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in the EMR system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certification through ARRT or ARMRIT in MRI required.
• West Virginia State Licensure as an MRI Technologist for positions in West Virginia.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in MRI is preferred.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
