Schedule

The shift is from 3 PM to 3 AM, with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts one week and four 12-hour shifts the next, totaling 36 to 48 hours per week. Must be available for every other weekend and holiday as needed.

Job Description

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will provide care to patients in the Emergency Department. This unit caters to a diverse patient population, including those from neonate to geriatric age groups, presenting with various medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients presenting in the Emergency Department.
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed.
• Coordinate patient care in collaboration with medical staff.
• Utilize various medical equipment, including IV pumps and ventilators.
• Perform necessary procedures such as starting IVs, EKGs, and lab draws.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years clinical experience required.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale are required.
• Epic experience from within the past 2 years is mandatory.
• CEN, ENPC, CPEN, and ABLS certifications are preferred.
