This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights, 12-hour shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. Availability required Monday through Friday, every other weekend, and every other holiday. Days of the week will vary based on managerial needs.

Job Description

This position is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the Respiratory Care process which includes assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating. The RRT collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery, aimed at achieving desired patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care for patients
• Assess the respiratory needs of patients and develop appropriate care plans
• Implement and evaluate treatments and therapies
• Work collaboratively with healthcare team members

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 5 years of experience preferred
• Must have completed more than one travel contract; travel experience required
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA) required
• Active RRT credentialed by NBRC and active Respiratory Care licensure by the New Jersey board of Respiratory Care required
