Description

CVICU RN Night Shift - Open Heart Experience Required

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM

Job Description

The CVICU RN will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a cardiovascular intensive care unit, particularly those who have undergone open-heart surgery. The role requires a dedicated and experienced professional who can handle the complexities of post-operative care.

Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to cardiac surgery patients.
Monitor patient vitals and assess health status.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes.
Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery processes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
Open Heart experience is mandatory.
Certifications in BLS and ACLS preferred.
Experience in an ICU setting is highly desired.
