Schedule

Night shift available: 3x12 Hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including weekdays, with a minimum of every other weekend and holidays required. There is an option to flex to 4x12 shifts if needed or available.

Job Description

The ER RN will provide critical emergency care services to patients in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality nursing care in accordance with established protocols and standards. The role involves managing acute medical situations, assessing patient needs, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the emergency department, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Administer medications and IV therapy, including blood products and vasopressors.
• Conduct triage assessments and respond effectively to emergencies.
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting in compliance with hospital standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health management and post-discharge care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of emergency room nursing experience required; 3 years preferred.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (all through AHA) required.
• Previous charge experience is a plus.
• Experience with Meditech charting preferred.
• Must have a valid state license; at least pending with ETA clearly stated.
