Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care in a 10-bed unit consisting of 5 ICU and 5 Telemetry beds. The role requires a positive attitude, flexibility, and the ability to work in a high-acuity environment. This unit has managed an average of 9 COVID-positive patients, along with a variety of other medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in the SCU/Telemetry unit.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess and manage patient needs.
• Provide effective education and support to patients and their families.
• Monitor and report changes in patient status and condition.
• Assist with procedures and administer medications as prescribed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required; NIHSS certification is a plus.
• Experience in ICU or Telemetry nursing preferred.
