Job Description

Immediate opening for a qualified MS/Tele RN in a combined unit, requiring higher acuity and PCU experience. The role involves caring for adults and geriatric patients with a variety of diagnoses, including but not limited to CHF, ECOPD, NSTEMI, AFib (new onset), arrhythmias, sepsis, and renal failure.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients in a telemetry setting.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies as per protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Rapid Response Teams.
• Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and families.
• Handle acute situations, including rapid response and code situations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a valid MD state RN license.
• 2 years of experience in MS/Tele or PCU required; first-time travelers accepted with strong experience.
• Certifications required: BLS, CPI, NIH; ACLS preferred.
• Charting system experience with Epic preferred.
