MS/Tele RN - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule / Shift

Night shift, working 3 twelve-hour shifts per week (19:00 - 07:30). Every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled MS/Tele RN to join our night shift team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced observation unit focusing on telemetry. The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 1:5-6 with primarily lower acuity cases.

Responsibilities

Monitor patient telemetry and manage dysrhythmias
Provide care for patients with conditions such as chest pain, abdominal pain, UTIs, and renal issues
Document nursing care and outcomes, ensuring accurate record-keeping in the Epic charting system
Initiate and manage peritoneal dialysis exchanges, clamping/unclamping as required
Float to sister facilities and other units as necessary, within scope of practice

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience required
2 years of experience preferred
Current Maryland RN license or compact license
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and CPI certification (CPI onboarding on-site)
