This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Days - 8 or 10 hour shifts, 40 hours per week from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM or 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with weekends and holidays as assigned.

Job Description

Join a beautiful brand new psychiatric facility that emphasizes quality care for behavioral health patients. The facility frequently utilizes restraints, therefore it is essential that candidates possess relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Provide care to adult, geriatric, and adolescent patients in an acute inpatient hospital setting.
Assist in the treatment of mental health and behavioral disorders, as well as substance abuse and addictions.
Document patient care through Epic and maintain paper charting for restraint procedures.
Implement de-escalation techniques and participate in ongoing training as provided.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Active Pennsylvania nursing license at the time of submission.
A minimum of 1 year of recent experience in behavioral health or psychiatric nursing.
