Day shift from 7 am to 7 pm, with three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend.

Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse (RN) and be at the forefront of coordinating exceptional patient care for adult and pediatric patients. Your expertise will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care in the dynamic general Med/Surg unit. Collaborate with a talented group of professionals to meet the unique needs of our diverse patient population, utilizing the Nursing Process to make critical decisions while prioritizing holistic care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and pediatric patients.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best patient outcomes.
• Use the Nursing Process for decision-making and patient assessments.
• Deliver holistic care addressing age, physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs.
• Accountable to the Unit Director; collaborate with the Clinical Nurse Lead and Nursing Supervisors.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least three years of acute care experience.
• Current Vermont RN or multi-state RN licensure.
• BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS certification required prior to start.
• Preference for candidates familiar with Meditech.
