Schedule

Full Time 3x12 day shift (7a-7:30p) with holiday and every other weekend rotations; includes 2 On-Call shifts every 4 weeks.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care across multiple units including medical/surgical, ICU, and ER. This position requires active participation in patient assessment, care planning, and implementation of nursing interventions. The RN must be capable of adapting to varied units and patient needs effectively.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care in a safe and effective manner.
• Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
• Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation.
• Participating in professional development activities and maintaining competencies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Currently licensed by NYS as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Minimum of 1-year experience in MedSurg/Tele/Critical Care Units.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (requires AHA or RQI), NIHSS.
• Basic Coronary Care within 6 months of hire; CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
