Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule / Shift

Shifts will consist of 4 x 8-hour shifts one week and 5 x 8-hour shifts the next, with a minimum of every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide nursing care to patients in a long-term care setting, focusing on the needs of the elderly population, specifically those aged 60 and over.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a long-term care environment.
• Monitor patient health, administer medications, and maintain accurate records.
• Provide support to patients with various long-term care diagnoses.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float to Memory Care and PAC as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience is required.
• Prior travel experience is preferred.
• Experience with the EPIC documentation system within the past 2 years is required.
• Dementia capable care certification is preferred.
