Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3 x 12 hrs/week, every other weekend required, 3/6 holidays required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Key responsibilities include planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patients' needs, identifying patient needs, and prioritizing care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. The nurse develops, implements, and coordinates individualized care plans and initiates assessments based on patient problems, medical diagnosis, and functional health frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care.
• Document care based on standards of care and practice.
• Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards.
• Provide patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice models.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum one (1) year of experience in the related specialty.
• Required Education: ASN.
• Preferred Education: BSN.
• Required Certifications: BLS-AHA, NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license, NRP.
• Preferred Certifications: ACLS, Advanced AWHONN or EFM.
