Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Schedule

The RN will work either 36 hours per week on a day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or four 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. A rotating call schedule includes weekend and weekday call, mirroring the call rotation of the general staff. Call time will be split between Call 1 and Call 2, and holiday call rotation may be required as applicable. Variability in this schedule may occur based on patient census and staffing needs.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our operating room team. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in various surgical specialties, with an emphasis on robotic, neuro, and orthopedic experience. Proficiency with Epic EMR systems is also recommended.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the operating room.
Assist in surgical procedures, demonstrating proficiency in various specialties.
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient operations.
Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergency situations as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Active BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
A minimum of 3 years of current/recent operating room experience is mandatory.
