Job Description

The Inpatient Renal department is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse. The patient population includes individuals with Chronic Kidney Disease, Acute Kidney Injury, End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), and those requiring general medical-surgical care. The nurse will be expected to manage a patient ratio of 1:4-5 and may be required to float to other units if needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with renal conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess patient conditions.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
• Participate in patient education regarding renal health and management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of nursing experience required, with inpatient renal experience highly preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is required.
• Candidates must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance.
• Must possess a valid nursing license.
