Shift: 12-hour nights (7 PM to 7 AM) with occasional off shifts (11 PM to 11 AM or 3 PM to 3 AM).

Job Description

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will provide care in a Level III Trauma Center, focusing primarily on night shifts. The role requires managing various patient diagnoses including behavioral health, chronic illnesses, and a limited number of trauma cases. The RN will work collaboratively within a team comprising physicians, PAs, LPNs, and other support staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Emergency Room setting.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess and manage patient needs.
• Monitor and document patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Assist in triaging patients and managing emergency situations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of ER experience.
• Completion of at least one prior successful travel assignment.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS.
• TNCC certification preferred.
