CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Night/Day Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night and Day shifts available: 3x12-hour rotating shifts (19:00 - 07:30 / 07:00 - 19:30). Must work at least every other holiday.

Job Description

We are seeking experienced CVICU Registered Nurses to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in cardiac care and critical care settings, providing high-quality patient care while adapting to the operational needs of our facility.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the CVICU.
Monitor patient status and vital signs closely, administer medications, and manage IVs.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to manage patient care plans.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and aftercare.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum 18 months of permanent CVICU experience required.
Active Ohio Nursing License or Compact License in hand.
Current BLS, ACLS & NIHSS certifications required.
Travel experience is acceptable for meeting the experience requirement.
Passing score on ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment required during orientation, with two attempts allowed.
