Nights, 3x12-Hour Shift (19:00 - 07:30), Every Other Weekend, Holidays as needed. Floating required if needed.

Job Description

The Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) will manage and provide care for a diverse patient population, including observation patients, respiratory conditions, general medical/surgical diagnoses, palliative care, hospice patients, psychiatric observation, and surgical patients. RNs will be required to pass an EKG exam during onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and families.
• Utilize telemetry equipment to monitor patients' cardiac status.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Must have EPIC charting system experience.
• Charge RN experience preferred.
• Valid nursing license in state of practice required.
