Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:30), including every other weekend and holidays as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiac Telemetry to provide exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will focus on cardiac patients, including those with Congestive Heart Failure, rule-out myocardial infarction, Acute Coronary Syndrome, and Arrhythmias, while also providing care for respiratory issues such as COPD and pneumonia.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients in a telemetry setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Evaluate patient care plans and adjust as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a telemetry or cardiac unit.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Must pass a EKG exam as part of compliance.
• Epic experience required.
• Experience with telemetry and the interpretation of dysrhythmias is essential.
