Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of experience in ambulatory or outpatient settings. The ideal candidate will have experience in pain management and phase 2 recovery, with specific knowledge in various surgical procedures. The role includes participation in a call rotation and weekend/holiday coverage as needed. Candidates must adhere to a strict policy for punctuality and attendance.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in an ambulatory care setting.
Monitor and manage patients post-operatively, including those recovering from orthopedic, urology, and gynecological procedures.
Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
Document all patient care activities in the electronic health record system (Epic).
Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in ambulatory or outpatient care.
Active RN license.
Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
Pass a mandatory EKG exam during compliance.
