Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM (primarily nights with some days as needed)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN with a minimum of 2 years' experience in Labor & Delivery or Maternity. The primary role will focus on Labor & Delivery, with the requirement to float to Maternity when needed. The unit operates on a patient ratio of 1:1 to 1:2. The RN will not be required to take charge or precept. Additionally, the candidate must be willing to float to med/surg for safety sitter patients if not needed on L&D/OB.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care in the Labor & Delivery unit.
Be competent with fetal monitor strips and manage patient care effectively.
Float to the Maternity unit as needed and to med/surg for safety sitter patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years' experience in Labor & Delivery/Maternity.
CPR, NRP, and ACLS certifications required.
Current state nursing license.
Ability to float to other units as necessary.
